Jet2holidays and Jet2 Airlines advise travelers for their autumn trips to follow a crucial 12-hour rule. The leading UK package holiday provider offers essential guidance on its website that passengers should review well in advance of their journey.

Plymouth Live reported that passengers should check the designated website section at least 12 hours before their flight for updated flight information. Additional details can be accessed by entering the flight number or route in the search panel. It is recommended to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure time. Passengers should be aware that check-in desks close 40 minutes before departure.

Jet2, operating from various UK airports including Liverpool John Lennon, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds Bradford, East Midlands, Birmingham, London Luton, London Stansted, Bristol, and Bournemouth, assures passengers that in case of flight disruptions, dedicated Operations teams are diligently working to minimize delays.

The airline serves over 75 destinations across Europe and beyond. Skyscanner recently revealed insights on the best and worst times to book international flights, emphasizing that the timing of booking can vary based on the destination and season. While prices may drop closer to departure for less popular routes, popular destinations often experience price hikes. Tuesdays and Wednesdays typically offer cheaper fares due to decreased booking activity.

Skyscanner suggests booking short-haul flights one to three months in advance and long-haul flights two to six months prior to departure to secure better deals. Travelers can use Skyscanner’s notification feature to monitor fluctuating airfare prices by setting up alerts for preferred routes.

Google also offers a similar flight price monitoring service, allowing users to track prices for specific dates or flexible travel plans. Travelers can activate price tracking for specific round trips by selecting dates and flights and turning on the alert feature.
