Elon Musk has reportedly been mentioned in recently disclosed Jeffrey Epstein documents, potentially listed as a visitor to Epstein’s private island, Little St James.

Released by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee in the US, the files contain a schedule from December 6, 2014, noting: “Reminder: Elon Musk to island Dec.6 (is this still happening?).” This entry comes six years after Epstein’s sex offender status. These details surface amidst increased scrutiny of Epstein’s associations, including the reemergence of the Duke of York in the same files.

The individuals mentioned were identified as Epstein’s associates, with no implications that they were aware of his activities or complicit in any wrongdoing.

Prince Andrew is documented as a passenger on a private flight from Teterboro, New Jersey, to Palm Beach, Florida, on May 12, 2000, accompanied by Epstein, his then-girlfriend and subsequent convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, and two unnamed individuals.

Although information about Andrew’s flight had previously emerged during Maxwell’s trial – where one accuser, aged 14 at the time, recalled flying with the duke – he maintains his innocence.

Musk’s involvement in the documents follows his public dispute with Donald Trump in June, during which he called for the President’s impeachment and mocked Trump’s association with Epstein.

Musk once tweeted alleging Trump’s presence “in the Epstein files,” suggesting this as the reason for the files not being made public. Despite deleting the tweet later, the incident led to a brief but notable conflict between Musk and Trump, with the latter accusing Musk of spreading misinformation.

In September, the two reconciled publicly at a memorial service for conservative activist Charlie Kirk, although the Epstein files had already highlighted strains in their relationship.

The disclosed documents also include a contentious email from Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, where she apologized to Epstein for publicly distancing herself, referring to him as a “close friend.” Following Epstein’s threat of defamation action, this email resulted in the Duchess losing support from several charity organizations.

Epstein was discovered dead in his Manhattan jail cell in August 2019 while awaiting trial for sex-trafficking charges; his death was ruled a suicide.
