A city center building was struck by a van, leading to the arrival of emergency services at the location. The incident occurred outside the NCP car park on Quay Street in the bustling city of Cardiff. Witnessed photos depict a secured area between La Pantera and the City Arms, where a white van is lodged against the black storefront positioned between the well-liked Casanova Italian and Asador 44 restaurants.

Numerous emergency services, including the South Wales Police and South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, are present at the scene. An individual who witnessed the event mentioned, “My friend and I reached the scene shortly after the collision, just before the street was closed off. The van, a white VW, was reported to have swiftly emerged from the NCP car park.” Another observer described the van as apparently losing control, speeding out of the NCP at approximately 40mph before colliding with the building adjacent to Casanova’s, narrowly missing pedestrians.

The fire service is currently on-site preparing to remove the vehicle, with the area cordoned off. Although individuals are allowed to exit the car park, entry is restricted. Eye-catching images display the cordoned-off area between La Pantera and the City Arms, where the large white van is firmly lodged against the black shop front neighboring the popular Casanova Italian and Asador 44 establishments.

A member of the public, present at the scene, relayed to WalesOnline, “My friend and I reached the location shortly after the incident, before the street closure. The van involved was a white VW, and witnesses mentioned it emerging rapidly from the NCP car park.”
