Pixie Lott faced challenges balancing work and family life due to severe illness in the early stages of her second pregnancy. The 34-year-old singer, along with her husband Oliver Cheshire, 37, who have a two-year-old son named Albert, are expecting their second child together. They got married in 2022.
The pregnancy news was revealed by Pixie during her performance at the Mighty Hoopla Festival in Brockwell Park, London, where she excitedly announced her upcoming arrival to the crowd. She later confirmed the news on her Instagram account.
During the first trimester, Pixie struggled with sickness, which was a new experience for her as she didn’t face it during her first pregnancy. However, she found the second trimester to be more energetic, especially while performing at festivals. Dressing her growing bump has been a joyful experience for her, appreciating her body’s preparation for new life.
In a previous pregnancy, Pixie surprised fans by keeping the news private until she was 31 weeks along, sharing the announcement on Instagram in 2023. She was joined by other artists at the festival event, including JADE, Ciara, Mutya Buena, Jamelia, and The Vengaboys.
Pixie and Oliver’s relationship began in 2010 at a Select Model catwalk show, leading to their marriage in June 2022. Their first child, Albert, was born the following October.
