Glamour model Kelly Brook has come to terms with the idea that she may never have children. The 45-year-old celebrity, who has been married to Italian model Jeremy Parisi for three years, reflected on this in a recent interview. She acknowledged that the window of opportunity for starting a family might have closed for her and expressed the need to accept this reality.

Kelly’s previous relationship with actor Jason Statham did not result in children, and Jason has since had two kids with model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Despite expressing regret that her relationship with Jason did not lead to parenthood, Kelly praised him as the best in a candid interview. The couple split several years ago, and Jason began a relationship with Rosie, known for her work with Victoria’s Secret.

In a recent interview with the Daily Mail, Kelly discussed the potential emotional impact of her marriage to Jeremy not lasting and him having children with someone else in the future. She admitted that while they had decided not to have children early in their relationship, she would be heartbroken if that scenario were to unfold.

Kelly and Jeremy, who met when Kelly was 36, initially agreed to focus on a more tranquil lifestyle and opted not to have children. However, looking back after about a decade, Kelly has reconsidered this decision. She shared her thoughts on the societal pressure to have children and her own struggles with miscarriages in her 30s during an appearance on Loose Women.

Dr. Miriam Stoppard recently highlighted a trend of women choosing to have children later in life, irrespective of their educational backgrounds. She referenced a study by Professor John Ermisch from the University of Oxford, which examined the age and educational levels of mothers in England and Wales. Data from the Office for National Statistics revealed a decline in the total fertility rate in the region from 2010 to 2021.
