The most recent update for Assassin’s Creed Shadows has been released, offering players an unexpected crossover event and additional content within the AC world.
Update 1.1.6 of Assassin’s Creed Shadows is now accessible on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, providing new story DLC and improved gameplay elements.
In addition to the introduction of the Puzzlement story DLC, the update presents players with a unique opportunity to engage in a special limited-time quest in collaboration with Attack on Titan.
The crossover mission with Attack on Titan, featuring a colossal Titan-Shifter, will run exclusively from November 25 to December 22. This limited window gives players a brief period to complete the quest.
The mission was launched following the release of update 1.1.6 at 2 pm GMT UK time. Players are required to download the update before embarking on the mission.
To access the quest, players must travel to the Yamashiro region, located north of Hanazo Tower.
Prior to attempting the quest, players must unlock Yasuke as a playable character, and the quest will only appear on the objective board after interacting with the quest giver.
According to the official description, “A mysterious, power-hungry faction has infiltrated feudal Japan with a kidnapped Titan-Shifter as their weapon, aiming for total domination. The lone survivor recruits Naoe and Yasuke to prevent the group from unleashing the terror of a Titan on Japan.”
As part of the crossover, players engaged in the quest can uncover customization options for their hideout, such as banners and a statue.
Upon finishing the quest, players will receive a crystal katana for Naoe. Additionally, fans have the option to purchase an Attack on Titan Dual Pack from the in-game shop, which includes outfits, weapons, trinkets, and a new mount.
