Starting from April 1st, Virgin Media customers who subscribe to Sky Entertainment channels will receive Sky Atlantic at no extra cost. This update applies to Virgin TV 360 and Stream box users. To access Sky Atlantic content, viewers can simply tune in to channel 111 on the Virgin TV platform or watch on-demand via Virgin TV Go.
David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, expressed excitement about the addition of Sky Atlantic, highlighting the captivating dramas and stories available to over a million Virgin TV customers without any additional fees.
Meanwhile, Sky has introduced a new Ultimate TV plan that includes premium channels like Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app, all priced at £24. This plan will be accessible on Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms.
Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, described this update as a “new era,” combining Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu into a single subscription. This move aims to enhance the viewing experience for customers across various platforms.
