Streamer IShowSpeed, also known as Darren Jason Watkins Jr., emerged victorious as the Streamer of the Year at the 2025 Streamer Awards held at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles. This marked his second consecutive win in this category. Notable winners from the event included CaseOh for Gamer of the Year and Cinna for The Sapphire Award honoring the best female or marginalized gender streamer of the year.
In a heartwarming gesture, IShowSpeed took the opportunity to commend his close friend Kai Cenat during his acceptance speech. Kai Cenat himself had a successful night, securing multiple awards such as Best Just Chatting Streamer and Best Streamed Event for Streamer University.
The awards also recognized other talented individuals like PlaqueBoyMax for Best Music Streamer and Best Streamed Series, as well as Emiru for Best Creative Arts Streamer. In the gaming category, Caedrel won Best MOBA Streamer, and Peak was honored with Stream Game of the Year.
Meanwhile, despite being nominated for Best Sports Streamer, AngryGinge, the winner of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, did not win the award, which went to flight23white.
AngryGinge, along with his friend Aitch, has garnered significant attention following their jungle adventures. Speculation has emerged about the duo potentially landing their own reality show, hosting Soccer Aid, or becoming the new hosts of Sky Sports’ Baller League. Industry experts anticipate a bidding war for their joint talents, considering their natural on-screen chemistry displayed during their time in the jungle.
