Hamas militants reportedly carried out brutal acts of violence against around 500 Palestinians in Gaza, as stated by human rights lawyer Moumen Al-Natour in a conversation with the Mirror over WhatsApp. Al-Natour described the harrowing incidents where individuals were targeted for opposing Hamas, with some being killed and many others shot in the legs.
Allegedly, Hamas has established a website called “Grab a Collaborator” to intimidate those perceived as collaborating with Israelis. These violent acts, including attacks in hospitals, have resulted in an estimated 150 deaths. Al-Natour, a 31-year-old anti-Hamas activist living in hiding, highlighted the widespread violence in areas vacated by Israel under the Trump peace agreement.
According to Al-Natour, Hamas militants have been using hospitals like Shifa in Gaza City to capture and harm individuals, including women, children, and even a pregnant woman, based on their family connections. He emphasized that Hamas is also targeting less armed groups like clans while avoiding public executions in favor of violence within hospitals.
Despite facing personal threats from Hamas, Al-Natour has continued his activism against the group, advocating for improved conditions and governance in Gaza. He stressed the need for Israeli forces to secure the region and take action against Hamas, which he believes poses a significant threat to the area. Al-Natour remains committed to serving his community by promoting education, food distribution, and local governance in regions under Israeli control.
