Virgin Media is currently running a special promotion offering customers a chance to receive a free smart TV just in time for the upcoming FIFA World Cup. The promotion, which ends today, allows customers to claim a £250 LG Smart TV when signing up for one of Virgin Media’s TV and broadband packages. These packages include access to hundreds of channels, complimentary Netflix, and the option to add Sky Sports and Cinema coverage.

Customers who take advantage of this deal can choose between a 43” LG Ultra HD smart TV valued at £249.99 or receive a £125 bill credit, essentially providing several weeks of free service. To qualify for this offer, customers must claim it by 11.59 pm on Wednesday, May 27.

Virgin Media offers a variety of TV packages, each with over 200 channels and a free Netflix subscription. The Cinema bundle, priced at £44.99, includes full Sky Cinema access and 362Mbps fibre broadband. Sports enthusiasts may opt for the Sport bundle at £54.99, which replaces Sky Cinema with full Sky Sports coverage. Customers can also combine both packages with the Sport + Cinema bundle at £64.99, enhancing broadband speed to 512Mbps. For those seeking the ultimate package, the Max Volt bundle at £76.99 includes over 230 TV channels, Sky Cinema, Sky Sports, Netflix, 1,130Mbps broadband, and an unlimited O2 SIM.

In addition to the free smart TV promotion, Virgin Media has introduced the One Touch Switch scheme, simplifying the switching process for new customers. Virgin takes care of the switch on behalf of the customer, eliminating the need for direct contact with the previous provider.

It is important to note that Virgin Media’s monthly prices increase by £4 each April, so customers should factor this into their decision when committing to a 24-month contract. Sky is also offering discounts on its Glass smart TVs as part of a competitive sale leading up to the World Cup.

Customers have expressed satisfaction with Virgin Media’s services, highlighting the fast broadband speeds and value for money. Positive reviews commend the easy installation process and the variety of channels available. One customer praised the intuitive operation of the TV package chosen, while another appreciated the seamless switch facilitated by Virgin.

For those considering a switch to Virgin Media, customers have emphasized the ease of use, voice control features, channel variety, broadband speed, and competitive pricing as key reasons for their satisfaction.
