A variety of fresh elements are set to debut in EA FC 26, as EA Sports has confirmed the introduction of five new EA FC 26 PlayStyles upon the game’s release.
The global launch date for EA FC 26 is scheduled for Friday, September 26, while players with early access can start playing from Friday, September 19. The anticipation for the upcoming game is rapidly increasing, with EA Sports gradually unveiling all the latest enhancements to the game in recent months.
From detailed examinations of EA FC 26 gameplay to the announcement of all licensed teams and leagues in the latest EA Sports FC edition, numerous new features are being incorporated into EA FC 26. One significant gameplay alteration that has not received extensive coverage yet is the introduction of new EA FC 26 PlayStyles.
PlayStyles were first introduced in EA FC 24, with subsequent updates including the addition of goalkeeper PlayStyles at the commencement of EA FC 25 and the inclusion of the Low Driven Shot PlayStyle midway through the EA FC 25 cycle.
We had the opportunity to test the new EA FC 26 PlayStyles during a preview event at the EA Sports headquarters in July. Based on our experience, some of the new EA FC 26 PlayStyles could become the game’s new standard upon its official launch.
During the gameplay insight session, EA confirmed the inclusion of five new PlayStyles in EA FC 26, while also announcing the removal of four existing PlayStyles. The eliminated PlayStyles are Trivela, Flair, Power Header, and Aerial; however, the new PlayStyles aim to rejuvenate these categories in a different way.
Here are the new EA FC 26 PlayStyles along with their respective functionalities:
– Enforcer: A physical PlayStyle tailored for attackers, empowering players to retain possession more effectively while engaging in contact and dribbling. This PlayStyle proved to be overpowering during our testing, with defenders struggling to dispossess the attacking players.
– Gamechanger: Awarded to players recognized for their exceptional and unconventional finishes, combining elements from the former Flair and Trivela PlayStyles. Only players with the Gamechanger PlayStyle can execute trivela shots in EA FC 26.
– Inventive: Designated for players excelling in creative passing, merging features from the former Flair and Trivela PlayStyles. This PlayStyle restricts trivela passes to players possessing this unique style.
– Aerial Fortress: A novel PlayStyle for defensive players dominating aerial duels in defensive situations, refining the former Aerial PlayStyle to emphasize defensive capabilities. Players adopting the Aerial Fortress PlayStyle will have enhanced jumping ability and a formidable presence in aerial battles.
– Precision Header: Introduced to compensate for the removal of the Power Header PlayStyle, Precision Header is tailored for offensive players specializing in precise and controlled headers. This refined PlayStyle focuses on aerial battles and heading accuracy, granting players enhanced precision and power in their attacking headers.
