Environment Canada has lifted a yellow warning for severe weather following a storm that passed through parts of southern Alberta. The agency cautioned about damaging wind gusts, large hail, and heavy rain as the storm journeyed from Claresholm towards areas near Lethbridge and Medicine Hat. The initial warning issued earlier in the afternoon highlighted the potential for a dangerous thunderstorm capable of producing baseball-sized hail and causing damage to buildings and trees.
