Apple has introduced a new MacBook model, the MacBook Neo, which is now available for purchase starting at a price of £599. This makes it significantly more affordable compared to the latest M5-powered MacBook Air, which costs £500 more. Despite its lower price point, the MacBook Neo boasts a premium design with features such as a sleek aluminum body, a vibrant 13-inch Liquid Retina display, a long-lasting 16-hour battery life, and a comfortable keyboard suitable for daily tasks. Buyers can select from four color options: Silver, Citrus, Indigo, and Blush.
The MacBook Neo is powered by the A18 Pro chip, typically used in Apple’s smartphones, ensuring the laptop is capable of handling tasks like web browsing, video editing, photo retouching, and streaming content on the go. To make the MacBook Neo even more accessible, Sky is offering a deal where customers can get the laptop on contract for £12.50 per month, including a SIM card with 100MB of free data. This offer requires a 48-month contract and a £24 upfront payment, bringing the total cost over the term to £624, a slightly higher amount than purchasing the laptop outright.
The £12.50 monthly price applies to the 256GB model of the MacBook Neo, which does not include a Touch ID fingerprint scanner on the keyboard. For the 512GB version with Touch ID, the monthly cost is £15. Apart from Sky, the MacBook Neo is also available through other major retailers such as Argos, Currys, and Amazon.
