Battlefield 6 enthusiasts will soon be able to savor the new Winter Offensive content in multiplayer and Redsec for a limited time, as the latest game update is on the horizon. The update, labeled as 1.1.3.0, is packed with various gameplay adjustments and fresh additions for the inaugural season. Among these is the exclusive Ice Lock Empire State map, boasting wintry landscapes and thematic elements, alongside the debut of the Ice Climbing Axe weapon and a special Winter Offensive Battle Pass Bonus Path.

Scheduled for release on December 9 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, the Battlefield 6 Winter Offensive and update are anticipated to go live around 10am GMT UK time, building upon the successful Season 1 launch. According to reports by All Out Gaming, players should gain access to the Winter Offensive content starting at 4pm GMT UK time.

The new content highlights include a time-limited version of the Empire State map named Ice Lock Empire State, a Gauntlet Mode playable on the new map across different mission variations, and the introduction of the Ice Climbing Axe as a melee weapon. Additionally, the update brings enhancements to hit registration, soldier visibility, weapon handling, core gadgets, vehicle interactions, map layouts, and audio cues to enrich the overall gaming experience.
