Former Premier League goalkeeper Paddy Kenny required oxygen after being knocked out by Curtis Davies in a charity boxing match. Davies dominated the fight, prompting the referee to initiate a standing eight-count due to his powerful punches. Despite Kenny’s efforts to continue, Davies landed a decisive blow that led to Kenny hitting the floor and requiring medical assistance.

Davies, reflecting on his victory, shared his strategy of using his reach advantage to control the fight and expressed satisfaction with his performance. He acknowledged the bittersweet nature of defeating Kenny, whom he holds in high regard, emphasizing the competitive aspect of the charity event.

Following his win, Davies challenged YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul and others in the celebrity crossover boxing scene. The event, organized by Stake for four charities, aimed to raise £500,000 for Playskill, Sport In Mind, Willow Foundation, and Helping Hands.

In other fights on the card, Leroy Lita defeated David Noble, while David Bentley lost to Jody Morris. Sky has announced a price reduction on its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle, offering substantial savings and increased live match coverage for the upcoming season. Sky will broadcast over 215 live Premier League matches next season, a significant increase from previous seasons.
