Darts sensation Luke Littler is rejoicing after successfully passing his driving test, a milestone he had been working towards for a while. The world champion aced his practical test on the first try, but conquering the theory exam proved to be a more challenging task.

Despite facing six failed attempts, the 18-year-old finally clinched a passing grade on his theory test. Now officially licensed to drive, Luke proudly shared a photo posted by Colin Price Driving School on social media, marking this significant achievement.

Following his world title victory in January 2025, Littler had expressed his desire to use part of the prize money to purchase a new car. However, realizing the importance of obtaining his driver’s license promptly, he focused on passing the test first.

Reflecting on his car preferences, Luke mentioned his admiration for a Mercedes A-Class, indicating his evolving tastes as he ascended in the world. With plans to complete his driving lessons before reaching his twenties, Littler views obtaining his license as a personal gift to himself rather than a birthday present.

As he gears up for the defense of his PDC World Championship title, Luke Littler faces upcoming challenges in tournaments like the Players Championship Finals. While his European Championship journey ended prematurely, he remains determined to excel in future competitions against formidable opponents.

Among the elite players qualifying for the upcoming World Championship, Littler stands out as one of the top seeds, set to compete at Alexandra Palace without the luxury of a bye to the second round due to a format adjustment.
