Streaming has become a popular choice for many households, with devices like Fire TV Sticks leading the way. However, not all streaming methods are legal, raising concerns for some users. To address this, an alternative legal streaming option has emerged.

eBay now offers the PLEIO, a puck-shaped device powered by Freely that grants access to over 50 live channels for free. Freely also provides on-demand content, a TV guide, personalized recommendations, and the ability to pause or rewind live TV. Additionally, the PLEIO box includes access to more than 250 games through the PLEIO Extra platform, complete with a controller. Buyers receive a complimentary 12-month subscription to PLEIO Extra, with subsequent monthly costs at £9.99.

Features of the PLEIO box include 4K streaming support and a voice-enabled remote control. Interested buyers can purchase the PLEIO box for £99 on eBay and Amazon.

While similar to Sky’s Stream box, PLEIO offers a different content range. While Freely provides free channels, it lacks the premium lineup of services like Sky Sports, Sky Cinema, Netflix, Disney+, and HBO Max available through Sky Stream, starting at £15 per month. For households seeking free TV over broadband, PLEIO and Freely may be a suitable choice, while those prioritizing premium entertainment may prefer Sky Stream.
