A tragic incident unfolded in Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar district, India, where a five-year-old boy named Vikas was brutally beheaded in front of his mother by a man identified as Mahesh Mada, 25. Reportedly, Mahesh entered their home and, without uttering a word, viciously attacked Vikas with a sharp spade he found inside, resulting in the horrifying death of the child. The community was shocked by the senseless violence that took place.
During the attack, Kalu Singh, Vikas’s mother, sustained injuries while trying to protect her son. Upon hearing her screams, neighbors rushed to assist, but tragically, the boy could not be saved from the brutal assault.
Following the incident, an enraged crowd retaliated against Mahesh, who was apprehended, tied up, and beaten before succumbing to his injuries en route to the hospital. Investigations revealed that Mahesh had been missing from his residence for nearly four days, and authorities suspect he may have been mentally unstable.
Police Superintendent Mayank Awasthi confirmed the death of Mahesh and announced a judicial inquiry to ascertain the circumstances leading to the tragedy. Initial findings suggest that Mahesh had no known motive or relationship with the victims, and his erratic behavior indicated possible mental instability. He was promptly arrested after the incident.
Authorities noted that Mahesh’s erratic behavior had raised concerns in the community prior to the attack, despite no prior interactions with the victim’s family. He had been receiving treatment for his mental health issues before his untimely demise.
The community was shocked by the inexplicable violence that transpired, prompting a detailed investigation into the tragic events that unfolded in the peaceful village.
