Kate Middleton recently revealed a poignant sentiment regarding her connection with one of her family members. The Duchess, who is the aunt to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, has not had much interaction with them since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to the US in 2020. There is uncertainty about whether Kate has met Princess Lilibet, according to royal correspondent Danielle Stacey.

Kate expressed that she had not communicated with her niece shortly after Lilibet’s birth on June 4, 2021. In a TikTok video shared by CBS News in June 2021, Kate mentioned her anticipation of meeting Lilibet and admitted that she had not met or FaceTimed with her yet.

Harry’s recent meeting with his father, King Charles, raised hopes for a possible reconciliation with his estranged family. During the meeting, which lasted 55 minutes, Harry presented a framed photograph of himself, Meghan, and their children to his father. This encounter was described as formal, with Harry joking that he felt like an official visitor at the royal residence.

Following the meeting, Harry emphasized the importance of focusing on his father in the coming months, dispelling rumors of a return to royal duties. Despite not having seen Archie and Lilibet since June 2022, Harry cited safety concerns for their inability to travel to the UK. In a recent interview with The Guardian, Harry reiterated his love for the UK while emphasizing the need to prioritize his father’s well-being.
