PS Plus Extra and Premium members have a limited window left to enjoy several games before they leave the service in December. The PlayStation subscription service is soon losing two popular franchise titles, as the current lineup for November unfolds.
Among the latest games introduced to PS Plus, such as Still Wakes the Deep and Pacific Drive, there has been mixed feedback due to the reappearance of Grand Theft Auto 5, which some players feel has been featured excessively.
As one GTA game enters, another, GTA 3 Definitive Edition, is set to exit along with other titles in December. Battlefield 2042 is also scheduled to depart from PS Plus next month as Battlefield 6 gains momentum, especially with its Battle Royale mode, REDSEC.
According to reports from All Out Gaming, there are seven additional titles, including some PS Plus Premium VR games, that will be removed on December 16. Fans have roughly a month left to explore any overlooked titles.
The remastered Grand Theft Auto III, part of the GTA Trilogy collection, has undergone significant improvements since its troubled launch in 2021. Rockstar Games issued a formal apology for the technical issues encountered by players, including game-breaking bugs and unfavorable design changes like distracting rain effects and altered character models.
Rockstar acknowledged the importance of the GTA series to fans worldwide and admitted that the updated versions did not meet their quality standards or fan expectations. Similarly, Battlefield 2042 faced initial criticism but has since undergone substantial improvements post-launch, aligning it better with player preferences.
