A woman labeled as a “psychopath” has admitted to poisoning 10 dogs while adjusting the levels of a substance she planned to use for a killing spree. In a tragic incident, a 65-year-old man passed away after consuming a “toxic bean stew,” falling sick at home initially and later seeking medical help at a hospital. However, authorities suspect foul play in Neil Correa da Silva’s death rather than just food poisoning.

Reports suggest a sinister scheme concocted by his daughter and another woman named Ana Paula Veloso to poison him and lay blame on someone else. Allegedly, the victim had a strained relationship with his daughter, and on the night he fell ill, both women were present at the property in Baixada Fluminense, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Investigators claim Veloso is linked to three other deaths, dubbing her a “serial killer.”

Veloso reportedly confessed to killing 10 dogs to test the poison’s effects and dosage before administering it to the victim, aiming to mask his death as a non-poisoning incident. Police disclosed that Veloso meticulously planned the killings by methodically testing the poison on dogs. In a shocking revelation, text messages between Veloso and da Silva’s daughter, Michele Paiva da Silva, discussed their plot to poison Neil, with evidence of rat poison found in Veloso’s residence.

The involvement of Veloso’s twin sister, Roberta, is also suspected, with accusations that she provided assistance and encouragement. Allegedly paid by Michele, Veloso traveled to Rio to carry out the murders, including Neil’s death, on Michelle’s orders. The police chief emphasized the similarity in behavior between the two women, citing manipulation and poison as their silent weapon.

Neil passed away on April 26, and authorities plan to exhume his body for further investigations. Additionally, Veloso is accused of attempting to frame another individual by feigning victimhood. The police chief revealed that Veloso had tried to frame a third party by planting a poisoned cake at a college, exposing her as a serial killer rather than a victim.
