Sky TV customers can expect a significant change in their viewing experience starting April 30. Sky has announced a revamp of its Cinema channel lineup by merging Sky Cinema Animation, previously on channel 312, into Sky Cinema Family on channel 304.
This move aims to simplify the viewing experience by consolidating all family-friendly films into one channel. Despite the consolidation, viewers will not lose any content; rather, popular titles such as Shrek, The Secret Life of Pets, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will still be available under the new channel arrangement.
Although Sky Cinema Animation has been integrated into Sky Cinema Family, it will make a temporary return during school holidays from July 24 to August 30, October 23 to November 1, and December 1 to January 5. This means that children can still enjoy their favorite films during these periods.
Sky assures its customers that all content previously shown on Sky Cinema Animation will continue to be accessible via Sky Cinema Family. This change aims to enhance the viewing experience by providing a more streamlined and convenient way to enjoy family-friendly movies.
