In an Instagram post, Davis mentioned her approach to living the remaining part of her life with joy, stating, “As of now, I’m trying to live out whatever might be left of my life in as fun a way as I possibly can.” She also highlighted the valuable lessons she has learned from her battle with cancer.
The actress revealed that chemotherapy is no longer an option for her as the cancer has metastasized to her spine, right hip, and ribs. She shared a video on Instagram where she recited a poem before ringing a bell, a symbolic gesture marking the completion of cancer treatment.
Born in Solihull, England, in 1973, Davis gained fame for her role as Dawn Tinsley in the British comedy series “The Office” from 2001 to 2003. She has also appeared in notable films such as “Shaun of the Dead” (2004) and “Wonder Woman” (2017).
