As we approach the end of 2025, now is an ideal moment to start considering your sunny vacation for next year. Some of the most affordable holiday destinations have been unveiled for the upcoming summer of 2026.

Whether you’re envisioning a well-deserved escape under the sun on a sandy Mediterranean beach or exploring European streets to immerse yourself in a city’s vibrant culture, there are numerous appealing holiday spots to choose from. To aid in your decision-making process, experts from Which? have disclosed the ten most budget-friendly destinations to book for a package holiday next summer.

In their analysis, they compared the prices of 5,393 package holidays from Jet2holidays and easyJet Holidays. These comparisons were based on a seven-night stay, including flights, departing around August 2, with two individuals sharing a room with various board options.

Among the findings, Which? identified Costa Blanca on Spain’s Mediterranean coast as the most economical choice for a package holiday in the following year. Renowned as the White Coast, it is adorned with white-sand beaches and expansive resorts such as Benidorm, Alicante, and Altea, each offering its own unique charm.

For a week-long stay in Costa Blanca during the peak of summer, Which? estimated an average cost of £864 per person for a package deal. This destination stood out as the only one priced below £900 for a week’s vacation in August.

The second most cost-effective package holiday was found in Tuscany, located in central Italy, celebrated for its picturesque hills, Renaissance art, and cities like Florence, Siena, and Pisa. A week’s retreat in this stunning Italian region would amount to £929 per person, covering flights and accommodations.

This affordability contrasted sharply with Sardinia in Italy, where a similar stay would cost around £1,508 per person, offering potential savings of £579. Tuscany’s affordability is attributed to the wide range of lodging choices available, ranging from self-catering to bed-and-breakfast, room-only, as well as all-inclusive and full-board packages.

Ranked as the third most economical destination for a summer escape was the captivating Agadir coast in Morocco, famous for its extensive sandy beaches and reputation as a prominent resort location. With an array of lodging options along the coast and a focus on beach activities, a sojourn here would cost £946 per person.

Based on Which?’s research, six of the top ten most affordable holiday destinations for 2026 were situated in Spain, with Tenerife, Fuerteventura, and Gran Canaria also making the cut. Additionally, Zante in Greece, known for its crystal-clear waters, lush landscapes, and vibrant nightlife, secured a spot in the top 10 list.

Here are the most budget-friendly package holiday destinations for 2026, as detailed by Which?, showcasing the average price per person for a seven-night package stay.
