Wetherspoon has kicked off its January Sale at 600 pubs, offering a pint of beer for as low as 99p. The discounted drinks range includes Worthington’s beer at 99p per pint, Coldwater Creek wine for £2.99 per 250ml glass, and Johnnie Walker Black Label or Tanqueray gin (25ml with mixer) for £1.99 each.
In addition to alcoholic beverages, there is a variety of low-alcohol and alcohol-free options such as Guinness 0.0, Corona Cero, Brewdog Punk AF, and more, priced at £1.69 each. Non-alcoholic beverages like Beck’s Blue and Sanpellegrino Aranciata Rossa are also available for 99p each.
Food discounts are also part of the sale, with options like an 11-inch Margherita pizza or a chicken burger with chips priced at £4.99 with a soft drink or £6.52 with an alcoholic beverage.
For those craving jacket potatoes, customers can enjoy six different fillings for £4.99 with a soft drink or £6.52 with an alcoholic drink. Additional fillings or a side salad can be added for 99p. New gourmet jacket potato offerings are available for £6.49 with a soft drink and £8.02 with an alcoholic drink.
The gourmet jacket potatoes come in various flavors like loaded spud with cheese, bacon, garlic butter, and sour cream; Mexican spud with vegetarian chili, guacamole, and more; and smoky potato with pulled BBQ beef brisket and chipotle mayo.
Wetherspoon’s founder and chairman, Tim Martin, expressed that the January Sale, running from January 2 in most pubs until January 15, aims to cater to a wide range of tastes with a focus on responsible service. Please note that prices may vary at the company’s other 200 venues.
