Fortnite enthusiasts will need to wait patiently this week as the game undergoes maintenance once again. The upcoming server downtime will align with the initiation of this year’s Winterfest event across various platforms including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PC, and Android.

This maintenance session is expected to be the last for the year, promising an exciting outcome. Epic Games has disclosed the schedule for the update 39.11 Fortnite server downtime. The downtime is set to start at 4 AM ET with matchmaking ending shortly before on X.

For fans in the UK, the game will go offline at 9am GMT on December 18, with matchmaking disabled at 8.30am GMT. The scheduled server downtime is anticipated to last for 90 minutes, meaning the game will be inaccessible for an hour and a half.

Players can look forward to the game being back online with the new content at 10.30am GMT on December 18, equivalent to 5.30am EDT / 2.30am PDT in the US and 11.30am CET in Europe.
