Chilling video footage has captured the aftermath of a devastating drone attack launched by Vladimir Putin on a nursery in Ukraine. Terrified children were seen screaming and crying as they were evacuated from the destruction caused by a series of strikes at a pre-school in Kharkiv, resulting in one fatality and seven injuries.

Emergency responders were seen rushing through the streets carrying the distressed children to safety. Fortunately, all 48 children were successfully evacuated following the attacks on Wednesday, with one adult male found dead and seven others injured during the Russian assault.

Heart-wrenching images revealed the extensive damage to the nursery, including a collapsed roof, shattered glass on the floor, and children’s desks among debris. Thick smoke billowed from the scene, depicting the severity of the incident.

President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the attack as an affront to peace-seekers, attributing the responsibility to “bandits and terrorists” under Putin’s leadership. The Mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, confirmed the direct hit on the kindergarten, sparking a fire.

Zelensky took to social media to reassure the public that all children had been relocated to shelters, although they were exhibiting signs of acute stress. He emphasized that there was no justification for targeting a kindergarten with drone strikes, denouncing Russia’s escalating aggression.

The attack occurred shortly before a meeting between Trump and Putin fell through, leading to the clearance for Ukraine to utilize certain long-range missiles provided by Western allies. Ukrainian forces confirmed the successful use of British-made Storm Shadow cruise missiles on a chemical plant in Russia, aiming to disrupt the production of military supplies used against Ukraine.

The missile strike coincided with a pledge by PM Keir Starmer and other European leaders to intensify economic and defense sanctions against Russia until Putin agrees to pursue peace negotiations.
