Tracey Connelly, the mother of Baby P, has revealed her interest in BDSM fetishes and disclosed her visit to a sex club upon her release from prison. The 44-year-old, who was imprisoned for her involvement in her son’s tragic death in 2007, acknowledged engaging in “titillating” exchanges after her release in 2022.

Appearing before a Parole Board panel to provide insight into Peter’s death, Connelly faced questioning regarding her personal relationships and sexual preferences as part of the assessment for potential release or transfer to an open prison. It was revealed that she was returned to custody in August of the previous year due to a clandestine year-long online relationship involving explicit messages.

Connelly admitted concealing her criminal history from her partner before engaging in activities such as intimate encounters, movie outings, and dining. Following the exposure of the affair, she was reincarcerated for failing to disclose the relationship to probation services.

Although acknowledging discussions on BDSM fetishes, Connelly clarified that no physical acts transpired, indicating the exchanges were for mutual arousal. Despite being monitored with an electronic tag, she confessed to visiting a sex club out of curiosity, emphasizing that the experience was underwhelming and not something she rushed to repeat.

Explaining her attraction to BDSM, Connelly emphasized trust as a crucial element, citing her desire to relinquish control to a trusted partner after a lifetime of self-regulation and responsibility. Having been imprisoned in 2009 for her role in Peter’s death, Connelly was released in 2013 but subsequently recalled in 2015 for selling explicit images online.

Following her release in 2022, Connelly faced renewed imprisonment after initiating an undisclosed relationship online without informing supervisory authorities. Her prison offender manager noted attempts to conceal evidence of the relationship from scrutiny, including the deletion of content from her phone.

Additionally, Connelly disclosed a romantic involvement with another female inmate, characterized by affectionate gestures such as kissing and cuddling. The relationship continued through exchanged letters, known as “jail mail,” after Connelly was relocated to a different wing upon the affair becoming public.

In discussing her personal preferences, Connelly expressed a desire for non-monogamous relationships. The ongoing hearing is set to continue.
