Sony has introduced the HYPERPOP collection in 2026, featuring Techno Red, Remix Green, and Rhythm Blue covers for PlayStation 5 consoles and controllers. These luminous-colored covers have a glossy finish with neon hues that fade into black at the top, inspired by the RGB lights of gaming setups.

However, the HYPERPOP covers are designed only for standard PlayStation 5 consoles, excluding PlayStation 5 Pro users. This limitation has sparked disappointment among gamers, with many expressing frustration on social media over the lack of covers for the Pro model.

Despite the setback, fans are hopeful that Sony may reconsider and release versions of the HYPERPOP covers for all consoles, given the company’s history of offering stylish covers like the Ghost of Yotei design for the Pro. Gamers are encouraged to voice their feedback in the hopes of a broader release of the popular covers.
