Korean music sensation BTS is under fire from certain fans following the appearance of two band members alongside controversial American artist Chris Brown at his concert in Toronto. J-Hope and RM were spotted at the event where Brown performed alongside Usher at Rogers Stadium. BTS is set to take the same stage on August 22 and 23.

A social media post by Brown showed J-Hope and RM posing with him, with additional videos depicting them enjoying the show. Brown, known for his legal issues, has a criminal record dating back to a 2009 felony assault charge against his then-girlfriend, singer Rihanna. Subsequent assault charges led to his imprisonment in 2014 and a recent guilty plea for a nightclub assault in London.

Despite Brown’s troubled past, the BTS members’ association with him has sparked mixed reactions among their fans, known as the ARMY. While some expressed disappointment and even stopped following the band on social media, others defended J-Hope and RM, suggesting they might have attended the concert primarily to see Usher. The debate among fans highlights differing perspectives on separating an artist’s personal history from their music. As of now, BTS representatives have not addressed the situation publicly.
