As we approach the midpoint of Season 1 for Warzone and Black Ops 7, the anticipated Season 1 Reloaded update is on the horizon. Activision divides its seasons into two parts, ensuring players have something to look forward to every month. This year’s Call of Duty era follows the same pattern.

While Black Ops 7 is currently receiving significant attention, Warzone is also set to benefit from Season 1 Reloaded. This means that even free-to-play fans will have new content to enjoy this January.

For those interested in Call of Duty Warzone, here is a breakdown of what Season 1 Reloaded entails, including details on the pre-load size, release time, and the expected content.

The Season 1 Reloaded is scheduled to kick off on January 8, 2026. Call of Duty typically releases updates around 5PM GMT, so players can anticipate the update going live tomorrow afternoon.

Players eager to download the Season 1 Reloaded update for Warzone should consider starting the process promptly to ensure they can get online quickly. Initial reports suggest that the update could be as large as 174GB for certain Battle.net users, though this can vary based on the number of Call of Duty games installed.

Fortunately, once installed, the game is unlikely to occupy the full amount of storage space initially downloaded. Games often download extra files for the installation process, replacing outdated files and removing unnecessary ones upon completion.

Despite this, it remains a substantial download that may cause delays for gamers with slower internet speeds on the first day.

Details about specific changes coming to Warzone in Season 1 Reloaded are scarce. However, Black Ops 7 will introduce two new weapons and three attachments that are expected to carry over to the Battle Royale mode. These new additions can be unlocked through seasonal event challenges.

Additionally, three new weapon attachments will be included, which players can acquire by completing a series of weekly challenges.

Another exciting update for both Warzone and Black Ops 7 is the Fallout crossover. A trailer previewing characters like Lucy, The Ghoul, and Maximus from Amazon’s Fallout TV show hints at potential character models being available for use in Warzone.

These new additions are likely to be accessible in the in-game store shortly after the launch of Season 1 Reloaded.
