LEGOLAND Windsor is introducing a special event called Paws in the Park on December 21 and 28, allowing dog owners to bring their furry companions to enjoy the Christmas festivities at the theme park. While dogs may not be interested in LEGO, they can explore the park and enjoy the holiday atmosphere while owners delight in various rides and Christmas shows. Additionally, well-behaved dogs can visit Santa’s Grotto in the Christmas Kingdom after 5pm for a special treat.
To bring their dogs to the park, owners must purchase a £10 Pet Pass in addition to human tickets and adhere to specific rules: dogs must be leashed, and owners need to bring their dog’s food and snacks, although water points are available throughout the park. Paws in the Park is part of the Christmas at LEGOLAND event, offering a festive experience until January 4 with Christmas decorations creating a winter wonderland feel.
Several rides, including The Dragon rollercoaster and LEGO City Driving School, remain open during the Christmas season. Kids can enjoy attractions like the DUPLO Dino Coaster and the LEGOLAND Express train. Visitors can meet LEGO Santa and his elves, visit Santa in his grotto, and receive a special LEGO gift as a memento of their visit.
The Christmas celebrations at LEGOLAND also feature the Festival of Flurries show, inviting the audience to participate in a lively musical performance. Guests can also enjoy the Nutcracker’s Marching Band playing festive tunes. Moreover, visitors can engage in activities like Build to Give, where building a LEGO heart in the workshop results in a LEGO set donation.
Apart from LEGOLAND Windsor, there are three other LEGO-themed parks in Europe, with LEGOLAND Deutschland in Germany announcing the addition of a new Harry Potter-themed land, featuring Wizarding World rides and accommodations. More details about this new land will be revealed in the coming months.
