A new highly-anticipated game has emerged as the talk of the town for 2026, overshadowing Grand Theft Auto 6 and Resident Evil Requiem. Phantom Blade Zero, set to launch on September 9, has garnered over one million wishlists on major platforms, marking a significant achievement for S-GAME’s upcoming RPG. The game will be a timed exclusive on PlayStation 5 for a year before becoming available on Steam and the Epic Games Store for PC users.

In a recent announcement on the official X account of Phantom Blade Zero, the team expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support as the game reached the milestone of one million wishlists within just 15 days of opening on December 12. The developers extended New Year wishes to the fans, recognizing their enthusiasm.

The game’s allure stems from its focus on seamless combat mechanics and stunning cinematic visuals. Players will immerse themselves in the narrative of Soul, a skilled assassin wrongly accused of a grave crime within his Order. Revived by an enigmatic healer, Soul must unravel the truth behind the murder of the Order’s leader within a strict deadline of 66 days, or face dire consequences. The pressure mounts as the protagonist races against time to clear his name and uncover a deep-rooted conspiracy.

Phantom Blade Zero was initially revealed at the PlayStation Showcase in 2023, with its official release date disclosed during the recent Game Awards ceremony.
