Gamers have been lauding ARC Raiders lately, but not everyone seems convinced of its greatness. Popular Twitch streamer Nadeshot, also known as Matthew Haag, criticized the prevalence of cheating in the game, comparing it unfavorably to the peak of Call of Duty.
In a candid post, Haag expressed his mixed feelings about ARC Raiders, acknowledging it as one of his top 10 favorite games while lamenting the extensive cheating issues he has encountered. He highlighted encountering suspiciously skilled opponents who hinder the overall gameplay experience.
Haag suggested various measures to Embark Studios, the game’s developers, to address the cheating problem, such as taking legal action against cheat sellers and implementing robust anti-cheat mechanisms. Despite acknowledging that not all players may face similar challenges, he emphasized the frustration of continuous encounters with cheaters.
Embark Studios has not yet responded publicly to Nadeshot’s criticisms. Cheating remains a significant point of discussion within the ARC Raiders community as the game’s popularity continues to grow.
