Apple has unveiled its latest iPhone 17e model, offering significant enhancements at an attractive price point. Priced at £599, the device features a speedy A19 processor, MagSafe charging, a durable design, and an impressive single-lens camera, all at a £200 discount compared to the flagship iPhone.
In a similar move, Samsung has introduced its new A57 and A37 smartphones, starting at a lower price of £399. While these devices may not match the performance and innovative charging capabilities of the iPhone 17e, they boast a 6.7-inch screen with 120Hz technology, surpassing the 60Hz display of the iPhone for smoother navigation and gaming experiences.
The Galaxy phones from Samsung also come equipped with substantial 5,000mAh batteries, triple lens cameras, and P68 water and dust resistance ratings. Additionally, Samsung has integrated advanced AI features in the A37 and A57 models, including Google’s Circle to Search for quick web queries and enhanced photo editing tools like Object Eraser and Edit Suggestions for effortless image refinement and sharing.
Enhancements in Voice Transcription within the Voice Recorder app allow users to transcribe call recordings and convert voicemail audio into text efficiently. Samsung has committed to providing extended support for the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G models, promising up to six generations of Android OS and One UI updates, along with six years of security patches.
Both the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G will be available for purchase on Samsung.com starting April 10th, with the A57 5G priced from £529 (256GB) and the A37 5G starting at £399 (128GB). The A57 5G will be offered in Awesome Navy, Awesome Grey, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac color options, while the A37 5G will come in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Greygreen, and Awesome White.
