Disneyland Paris has officially announced the opening date for its highly anticipated World of Frozen land, offering an exclusive first look inside the Arendelle kingdom.

Starting March 29, 2026, Disney enthusiasts will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of Anna and Elsa, featuring a new ride, character meet and greets, shows, and unique food and beverage experiences.

I had the privilege of being among the first to preview the new Frozen land at Walt Disney Studios Park, soon to be rebranded as Disney Adventure World. The area promises to delight Frozen fans from the moment they arrive.

Upon approaching the location, visitors will be greeted by a majestic snowy mountain showcasing Elsa’s ice palace in the distance, picturesque Nordic-style buildings perfect for social media, and charming fountains adorned with icicles, staying true to the Frozen theme. Additionally, hidden Mickey details can be spotted for those hunting for them in the park.

The character meet and greets will feature a new Olaf animatronic, charmingly interacting with princesses and guests. This innovative technology allows Olaf to move, talk, and engage with visitors, creating a magical experience alongside Anna and Elsa. The Arendelle castle will host princess meetups, offering guests the chance to explore the park while waiting for their turn. Other character interactions will include Oaken, baby trolls, and villagers sharing stories about life in Arendelle.

A vibrant show will take place multiple times daily in the Frozen village bay, featuring boats led by Kristoff and Olaf, with appearances by the princesses. Attendees can join in the fun by singing along to beloved Frozen tunes like ‘Let It Go’ and ‘Show Yourself.’

Food enthusiasts can indulge in a variety of snacks at the Nordic Crowns Tavern, offering customizable bowls for meals, including vegan and gluten-free options. The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge provides a delightful dining experience, where guests can book Character Dining to meet princesses in a charming setting inspired by various Disney characters.

The upcoming ‘Frozen Ever After’ ride promises a captivating journey through snowy landscapes, Elsa’s Ice Palace, and Arendelle Bay, culminating in a display of snowflake-shaped fireworks.

For merchandise, the Fjord View Shop will feature the interactive Rúna troll toy, offering engaging interactions within the Frozen land. These dolls, priced at €70 each, will come with a map revealing locations for special interactions, making them a must-have souvenir for visitors.

Frozen is just one of the exciting attractions at Disney Adventure World, which already includes Marvel and Pixar-inspired lands and plans for a Lion King expansion. New adorable attractions inspired by Up and Tangled will also be added to the park.

Visitors can anticipate a spectacular nighttime show above the Adventure World lake, featuring drones, pyrotechnics, fountains, and special effects paying homage to beloved films like Moana.
