Facing a 3-1 deficit against Pietreczko, the 18-year-old Littler staged a comeback, winning nine out of the next 12 legs with an impressive average to advance to the last eight in Minehead.
During a crucial interval when the score was tied at five each, Pietreczko’s comment spurred Littler on. The young player expressed that Pietreczko’s words fueled his determination to win the game, leading to his victory and subsequent celebratory gestures.
Littler, born in 2007, recently claimed the world No.1 title following his Grand Slam triumph. He showcased exceptional performance with an average of 102.67 and six 180s during the match.
