Fortnite’s latest collaboration announcement features South Park, with the iconic cartoon characters set to make their appearance in Fortnite Chapter 7 soon. The anticipated partnership was confirmed by Epic Games through a trailer showcasing Cartman and the gang transitioning into the Fortnite digital realm with the help of Butters and the Stick of Truth.

The South Park x Fortnite collaboration is scheduled to kick off on January 9, 2025, at 4 PM PT, translating to a midnight launch for UK players on January 10. The event will run until February 5, 2026, giving players ample time to enjoy the content.

Expect five unique South Park-themed skins to be available for purchase at 1,500 V-Bucks each. Furthermore, players can acquire Towelie as a Sidekick for 1,200 V-Bucks, while a South Park bundle is anticipated to hit the item shop priced between 3,200 and 3,800 V-Bucks.

Aside from cosmetic additions, the collaboration brings changes to the Fortnite map, transforming the Wonkeeland POI into ‘Cartmanland’ during the event. A new consumable item, Cheesy Poofs, offers health restoration and a temporary speed boost.

Intriguingly, the Stick of Truth, wielded by Butters in the trailer, is rumored to become a new Mythic item, potentially influencing the storm’s direction. Notably, the collaboration introduces a new gameplay feature allowing parties of up to five players, known as ‘Quints,’ to queue up for matches, a departure from the usual four-player limit.

The lasting impact of the larger party feature post-event remains uncertain, but its reception during the collaboration could influence Epic Games’ decision on its permanence in Fortnite matches.
