Sony has officially revealed the lineup of PS Plus games for January 2026. Alongside Need for Speed Unbound, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed and Core Keeper will be added on January 6, 2026. These games will replace LEGO Horizon Adventures, Killing Floor 3, and The Outlast Trials.

As 2025 comes to a close, the first game for the January 2026 PS Plus lineup seems to be confirmed. Sony has made changes to the service, focusing more on PS5 games as gamers transition to the new console.

According to Dealabs Magazine, the first PS5 game for PlayStation Plus in 2026 will be Need for Speed Unbound. This game will be downloadable for Essential, Extra, and Premium subscribers starting January 6.

The rest of the PS Plus Essentials for January will be officially announced by Sony on December 31 at 4:30 pm GMT. Need for Speed Unbound, developed by Criterion Games and published by EA, is praised for its street-art inspired visuals and gameplay offering street races and challenges.
