After a long wait, Virgin Media users have a reason to rejoice this week. Starting from April 1st, Sky Atlantic will be available to Virgin TV 360 and Stream box customers at no additional cost. This change comes without any price increase.
This addition allows households to access popular shows like Heated Rivalry, Under Salt Marsh, The Last Of Us, and Amadeus. Customers simply need to tune in to channel 111 on the Virgin TV platform starting Wednesday. Moreover, Sky Atlantic content will be on-demand and accessible via Virgin TV Go.
David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, emphasized the commitment to providing excellent entertainment value to customers by introducing Sky Atlantic on Virgin TV. He highlighted the channel’s captivating dramas and compelling stories from both the UK and the US, offering over a million Virgin TV customers the chance to enjoy Sky Atlantic without any extra cost or steps required.
In addition to the Sky Atlantic launch, Virgin TV customers have more to look forward to. The provider has announced a complimentary major content upgrade, making the TV Ultra HD channel available to all TV customers until April 12th, regardless of their plan.
The TV Ultra HD channel features a nightly lineup of ad-free entertainment, showcasing family-friendly films, iconic rock and roll performances, and a diverse range of documentaries. Notable movies and series include Playmobil: The Movie starring Daniel Radcliffe, The Invisible Man featuring Emmy winner Elisabeth Moss, the first season of Cobra Kai, and The Last Turtles, a documentary series shedding light on the Dominica Sea Turtle Conservation Organisation’s efforts.
Music enthusiasts can enjoy Rolling Stones: Olé Olé Olé – A Trip Across Latin America, documenting the band’s journey through South America and Mexico, culminating in a historic concert in Cuba.
