EE has introduced new SIM plans to address a common issue faced by many customers. With the increasing trend of downloading files and streaming content while on the go, running out of data has become a frequent occurrence.

The latest pay-as-you-go SIMs from EE come with a complimentary feature called “Data Parachute.” This feature automatically grants users an extra 1GB of data if they unexpectedly deplete their data allowance.

According to EE, “Data Parachute helps customers stay connected, whether it’s for communication with friends and family or using navigation apps to find their way home, providing them with a buffer until they can top up.”

These new plans, starting at £10 per month, offer additional benefits such as data rollover, which carries forward any unused data to the next month, and free data boosts that increase customers’ data allowances.

In addition, EE’s pay-as-you-go customers have access to the 5G network, delivering enhanced performance and faster speeds.

Here is the pricing breakdown for the new plans:
– £10 for 20GB
– £15 for 75GB
– £20 for 150GB
– £30 for 200GB
– £35 for Unlimited data

While other providers may not provide a feature like Data Parachute, there are competitive offerings in the market. For instance, SMARTY offers 80GB for £8 per month or Unlimited data for £20, while Giffgaff has plans with 75GB for £10 per month and 60GB for £13.

It is recommended to compare different options and choose a plan that suits your data needs to avoid unnecessary costs.
