For those seeking to avoid the gloomy UK weather next winter or the hustle and bustle of Halloween and Christmas, it’s the perfect time to secure a winter escape for 2026.

easyJet, a budget airline, has unveiled its Big Seat Release, offering millions of seats at discounted rates for the upcoming October half term and Christmas holidays. Travelers have a wide array of European and North African destinations to pick from, whether it’s a brief city break or a leisurely beach vacation they desire.

Over 14 million seats are now available on flights departing from 22 UK airports, including Gatwick, Luton, Glasgow, and Belfast, with some starting as low as £23.99 per person for a one-way trip.

The discounted fares apply to journeys scheduled between October 19, 2026, and January 31, 2027, emphasizing the importance of booking early to secure the best deals.

Residents in or near Birmingham can jet off to Paris, known for its iconic attractions like the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and its charming cafe culture, starting at just £23.99 one way, taxes included.

Travelers from Gatwick airport can opt for destinations like Faro in Portugal, Alicante and Palma in Spain for £34.99, or explore the picturesque canals of Amsterdam.

easyJet holidays also offer numerous package deals to popular winter spots such as the Canary Islands, Egypt, Morocco, Spain, and Tunisia, as well as city getaways to Paris, Reykjavik, Prague, and Amsterdam.

With a selection of over 8,000 hotels in 100 destinations, including free kids’ places at family-friendly establishments, travelers have a plethora of choices. All packages include flights, hotels, 23kg luggage, and transfers for beach vacations, along with Ultimate Flexibility for booking changes and refunds.

Bookings for flights during the fall and winter seasons are now open on easyJet’s website and mobile app. Visit the low fare finder section for the best offers, and the Inspire Me feature can suggest destinations across the network if you’re unsure where to go.

Kevin Doyle, the UK country manager for easyJet, expressed excitement about the expanded seat availability for the upcoming winter, highlighting the variety of leisure destinations accessible to UK customers, including Amsterdam, Paris, Alicante, Tenerife, and Malaga.
